In my former life we owned a pizzeria, and this seasoning is named after my favorite pie. The Works pizza was a red sauce creation topped with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and black olives. The only thing I left out of the works is the salt as different types of cheese can be quite salty. I developed this to season your own favorite pizza creation. When I add salt, I add a garlic based one like my top selling loaded salt and pepper!
Though this blend with designed for pizza. Over the years, I have had many customers tell me they love using it for meatballs, sauce, and lasagna. It has turned into one of the most versatile members of my Italian category.
