Description
This delightful green tea is farmed on the renowned Makaibari estate of the Darjeeling region that was established in 1859. It is home to some of the worlds best tea. A short leaf green Darjeeling tea with a wonderful mellow flavor. Steeps a fresh crisp cup with no grassy notes. Also worth noting is that even though any tea is inherently good for you, green tea is exceptionally good as it has been minimally processed. This means the antioxidants that tea is famous for are actually higher in green tea. It also means it is more delicate and should only be steeped for a few minutes at a much lower temperature than black tea.
Fun fact: This is my go-to Green! Even when I had my restaurants this was my house green tea. It is pleasant and well rounded.
